Obituary for Tony Visser

I lift up my eyes to the hills –
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
The Maker of heaven and earth.

Tony was born Antoon Christianus Visser on April 29th, 1935 in Westervoort, the Netherlands. The eldest child of Jacobus & Jana Visser and an older brother to Coot, Chris and Annie. Tony grew up on a farm with an orchard and some farm animals. At the age of 21, Tony moved to Canada, working on dairy and tobacco farms and eventually buying his own dairy farm with his bride, Lois in 1963. Many thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Mulcaster Mews for the months that Tony lived with you. Also special thanks to each and every caretaker at RVH that crossed Tony’s path in the last couple of weeks. Your kindness and care were second to none and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
